UltraFlo™

UltraFlō™ design technology was developed by Attic Breeze® to give the solar attic fan products the highest conversion of solar power to air movement possible. Utilizing the perfect balance between design geometry, fan blade, and motor, UltraFlō™ delivers superior airflow performance for a minimum amount of power consumption. The high efficiency UltraFlō™ design offers whisper quiet operation while producing the most airflow of any solar attic fan product in its class.

Utilizing the physics of venturi fluid flow mechanics in combination with the proprietary fan blade design, UltraFlō™ technology allows Attic Breeze® solar powered ventilation products to deliver maximum airflow production for minimum solar energy consumption. As hot attic air is drawn into the Attic Breeze® solar attic fan, the airflow is squeeze through the venturi style fan housing. The UltraFlō™ design produces an increase in air density at the fan blade, which maximizes the overall efficiency of airflow production. The result is Attic Breeze® UltraFlō™ technology; more airflow, less energy consumption, whisper quiet operation.

UltraFlō™ also has the added benefit of producing a uniquely flat fan curve. While the UltraFlō™ fan curve is designed to provide a maximum amount of airflow for very little power consumption, the fan design does not allow for the production of a significant static pressure head. This unique UltraFlō™ design feature helps to minimize the possibility of attic depressurization related to insufficient attic intake ventilation. UltraFlō™ design technology keeps your attic cool while minimizing the potential for ventilation problems.

Pivot Bracket

The Attic Breeze Pivot Bracket was designed specifically with customers in mind, offering the possibility for maximum sun exposure when less than ideal installation locations are required.  The Pivot Bracket mounts directly to the top of your solar attic fan, minimizing installation time and avoiding the need for remotely mounted solar panels.  The Pivot Bracket is most appropriate for use with roofs featuring an east/west facing, or for flat roofs where the solar panel must be inclined in order to achieve maximum power output.  Attic Breezemanufactures these brackets from corrosion resistant stainless steel for long lasting durability.  The Pivot Bracket is available with all Attic Breeze solar attic fan models which feature a unit mounted solar panel.

Thermal Switch Option Details

Attic Breeze solar attic vents ship standard with a thermal switch included to control the operation of the vent based on the temperature of the attic. The thermal switch minimizes attic heat loss during colder months and extends the run life of the unit. Removal of the thermal switch allows the solar attic fan to be operated continuously, where attic temperature does not control fan operation.
