Two large solar pool heating systems were installed for the KOA Okeechobee family and Adult-only pools.

Family Pool

This system consists of 39 (4 ft x 12 ft) Vortex^TM solar pool panels which equal to approximately 94% of the pool surface area. The panels are mounted on the single story south facing asphalt modified roof. The heating system is connected to the pool circulating equipment with a motorized valve and booster pump controlled by an automatic solar controller.

Fairway Adult Pool

This system consists of 35 (4 ft x 12 ft) Vortex^TM panels which is equal to approximately 70% of the pool surface area. The panels are mounted on the second story south facing asphalt modified roof. The heating system is connected to the pool circulating equipment with a motorized valve and booster pump controlled by an automatic solar controller.

Aquacal Spa Hot Tub

In addition, an Aquacal^TM SQ121R heat pump was installed for the Spa. Aquacal is a premium, long lasting heat pump with a 7 year factory limited warranty, All PVC, electrical parts and installation labor are warranted for one year. All materials are the finest available to insure years of cost effective performance and reliability.
