Easy to light and easy to use, Rocket-style StoveTec stoves make cooking with wood or charcoal effective and enjoyable.

StoveTec Stoves are fast and convenient. Cooks can boil 1 gallon of water in 20 minutes using just three 1 and 1/2 half inch in diameter, 12 inch long sticks of wood. One additional stick is enough to simmer for 45 minutes.

StoveTec Stoves burn cleaner, use less fuel, and are more economical than any other stove of their kind.

Stoves can support pots or pans that are 5 to 11 inches in diameter with the pot skirt attached. Larger pots can be used but weight and stability need to be considered.

Stoves are designed for both round and flat bottom cooking surfaces including woks, griddles and pressure cookers.

The stoves cook many different types of foods from rice to roasts and can cook for hours with a small amount of fuel. Stove temperatures can be controlled via fuel usage or by constraining air flow.

SafeWater Pasteurizer

Water pasteurization is a technique that makes water safe to drink for human consumption without having to bring it to a boil. Paired with a StoveTec Rocket Stove, approximately 4 liters of water can be brought up to 65°C - the temperature required to pasteurize water - in mere minutes.

Made from lightweight alloy, this product is designed to maximize surface area and optimize heat transferability via its hollow design. Water is collected into the inverted conical walls of the pasteurizer, brought to temperature, and then allowed to quickly cool when removed from the stove. No other product enables you to make 4 quarts of safe water as quickly and inexpensively as this pasteurizer.

StoveTec’s mission is to deliver clean and efficient cook stoves to the 3 billion people that currently cook over an open fire. 1.6 million people, 85% of which are women and children, die every year from inhaling the smoke emitted by open fires and unimproved cook stoves.

StoveTec has shipped over 70,000 stoves internationally over the past two years to countries including India, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Madagascar, Chile, Argentina, the Marshall Islands, and Haiti.

StoveTec Stoves replace dirty and polluting unimproved stoves and open fires, saving 40 to 50 percent of wood fuel and reducing 55 to 70 percent of dangerous emissions.
